(I've got my sore ankle propped up. I'm out of the bootcast and in an ankle wrap with stints now.)
Today I am forced to paint. Hubby actually paints really well. One of the many jobs he had in his life. I am not a house painter, but I am trying. So we are painting a neutral color over the green. It's a lot of work to prime the walls, prep the rooms and paint all this stuff. Of course it's BEAUTIFUL out and there's all kinds of free outdoor concerts and events to go to.........but not for us tonight. Tomorrow night we're going with 2 other couples to a Vineyard to see a Big Band play. Picnic foods on nice china, bottles of wine, sitting outside, it'll be grand.

We still have the rest of the house to go as far as painting.
Speaking of my husband's many jobs. He's had quite a few careers. Probably what attracted me was his diversity in the first place. He's been a painter, landscaper, bricklayer, owned his own jean and turquoise store, owned his own Pizza and deli, sold cars, sold insurance, handled county permitting for a construction company. From 1990 to 1999 he had his own construction business. The truck driving job came along and he's been doing that ever since. I've left out numerous other things. He's always worked and been on his own since he was 17. I worked on the boardwalk at Twin Kiss one summer, was a window dresser, a secretary, office manager, Guest relations manager, babysitter, home care provider to the elderly, and now sales and auction simulcast operator. Nothing too extraordinary. Oh I forgot, I was a hotel maid for two months when I was 18 -- that is one HARD job!
Take Care Everyone.
